Shia Links is a community platform built to connect members of the Shia community around three things: job opportunities, blood donation, and professional networking. The app is developed and maintained by TheMesumDev.

We respect the trust our community places in us. This Privacy Policy describes what information Shia Links collects when you use the app, how that information is used, and the controls you have over it. By creating an account or using Shia Links, you agree to the practices described below.

Information We Collect

To provide the app's core features, we may collect the following:

• Profile content — professional details, skills, or biography you add to help others in the community find or contact you.
• Job postings — details submitted by users who post job opportunities, including contact information they choose to share publicly.
• Blood donor information — blood group, city, and contact details you voluntarily provide if you choose to register as a blood donor.
• Device & usage data — basic technical information such as device type and app usage, used to keep the app stable and secure.

We only collect information that you actively provide or that is necessary for the app to function.

How We Use Your Information

Information collected through Shia Links is used to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Display job postings, donor listings, and professional profiles within the community.
• Allow other users to contact you when you choose to share your details publicly (for example, on a job post or donor listing).
• Respond to support requests and resolve reported issues.
• Maintain the safety, security, and proper functioning of the app.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Job Postings & Verification

Shia Links provides a platform where community members can post and browse job opportunities. Job listings are submitted directly by users, and the app itself does not create, verify, or endorse any job posting.

If you come across a job posting that appears fraudulent, misleading, or inappropriate, please use the in-app report feature described below.

Blood Donor Listings

Users may voluntarily register as blood donors to help others in the community during emergencies. This information (such as blood group and city) is shared within the app to help connect donors with those in need.

Participation in the blood donor feature is entirely optional, and you may remove your donor listing at any time from within the app.

Reporting Content

If you believe a job posting, profile, or any other content violates our community standards or appears fraudulent, you can report it directly within the app using the report option available on that listing. Reports help us review and take appropriate action, which may include removing the content or restricting the responsible account.

Account Deletion

You are always in control of your data. You may delete your Shia Links account at any time directly from within the app. Once your account is deleted, your profile and associated personal data will be removed from our active systems, except where retention is required for legal or security purposes.

Advertising

Shia Links does not currently run any advertisements within the app. Should this change in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect how advertising data, if any, is handled.

Sharing of Information

We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information you choose to make public within the app — such as contact details on a job post or donor listing — is visible to other users of the app, as that is the intended purpose of the platform.
